Black Widow Winery
Types of Wines
Black Widow Winery is a family-owned winery located on the picturesque Naramata Bench.
Since purchasing their 7-acre vineyard in 2000, the team has been committed to crafting exceptional wines exclusively from grapes grown on the Naramata Bench.
In 2006, the winery was built into the steep hillside, with five levels in total, allowing for the use of gravity in the gentle movement of wine during production.
Black Widow produces an average of 2,800 cases per year, with their first single vineyard wines released in the same year.
The winery has a low intervention philosophy in winemaking, which emphasizes the quality of the grapes used. The team is assisted by their three children, other family members, and friends.
Black Widow Winery’s wines are predominantly single vineyard pressings, which allows for the expression of the unique characteristics of each vineyard.
