The winery and vineyards lie on a sandy plateau near the north end of Osoyoos Lake, offering a dramatic vantage point in the middle of the vineyard.

Burrowing Owl’s environmentally sensitive team is committed to preserving the varied and deceptively fragile desert ecosystems within the adjoining vineyards.

The restaurant at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery offers guests a dining experience that perfectly complements the exquisite wines produced on site. The restaurant features a seasonally-inspired menu that showcases fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, including herbs and vegetables grown in the winery’s own garden.

Guests can choose to dine indoors in the elegant dining room or outside on the patio with breathtaking views of the vineyards and surrounding landscape. The restaurant has won numerous awards for its exceptional cuisine and service, and is open for lunch and dinner daily during the summer season, and on weekends during the rest of the year.
