Origin Wines
Types of Wines
Origin Wines opened their doors in 2017, but have been making Okanagan wines since 2015.
Their goal is to help guests find a wine they love, and they have created a unique experience that lets their tastebuds do the talking. The winery also likes to have a little fun.
Visitors are encouraged to taste the difference and learn about their unique approach. The winery has a long history of farming in the valley, spanning multiple generations. They are passionate about spending time with family, friends, and doing what they love.
Origin Wines hosts weddings and special events!
Located in a spot with absolutely breathtaking views, the winery is the perfect spot to relax while sipping on a glass of Okanagan wine. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic for lunch, or take a walk through the vines. It is an idyllic setting to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
They’ve partnered with Tony’s Meat’s & Deli to provide delicious picnic charcuterie boxes in three different sizes. Have a light snack while wine tasting or settle in and have a picnic lunch overlooking Okanagan Lake.
The origin of Blake and Daiya’s winery began on a vineyard located just blocks away from Origin Wines. Both hailing from the Okanagan region, Blake grew up on the Naramata bench while Daiya is from the Black Sage bench. Despite their different backgrounds, they shared a dream of owning a vineyard and winery and being rooted in the land where they grew up.
In 2009, they decided to put their plan into action and started building their dream winery piece by piece. Over the years, they have slowly but surely worked towards realizing their vision.
Blake and Daiya’s relationship started with their shared interest in wine, and their passion for winemaking has allowed them to turn their dreams into a reality. Creating their own winery has been a long-held aspiration, and they are thrilled to have the opportunity to share their passion for wine with others.
